Friday the 13th brought all good things to Mid-Pen this year when it hosted Night of the Arts, a community event that showcases the school's music, drama, and art students. More than 250 (masked!) guests, including students, their families, and alums, were on campus to support and celebrate the Dragons.
The evening kicked off with a drama performance in the gym followed by a rocking night of music from Mid-Pen's ensembles. The school's first A/V club, who spent DragonWeek how to create a set and manage lighting and sound for performances, added special touches to each set.
Visitors were also able to stroll through the campus to view incredible art installments made by Mid-Pen students. The displays ran the gamut from whimsical and fantastic to striking and bold. And all pieces were thought-provoking.
