Mid-Pen students and their dates enjoyed “A Starry Night” Saturday, April 22, at the school’s all-grade prom. Dragons boarded buses at campus to head to the lovely Bayview Dining Room at The College of San Mateo for an evening to remember. It was a perfect spring night for enjoying the outdoor patio and scenic vista. Inside, ultramarine blue tablecloths adorned with beautiful sunflower centerpieces brought the Van Gog theme to life. 

Students began dancing the night away upon arrival and picked up again right after dinner. Joy exuded during the group dance songs, including “the Cupid Shuffle," “the Macarena," and “the Cha Cha Slide." The photo booth, with fun props like wigs and hats, was a hit with all the Dragons (including the chaperones!). But props were not needed to make the photos fabulous, as students came glammed up for prom, styled in looks ranging from classic to vintage and even handsewn.
