We are a college prep school that knows how much stress can hinder how you learn and grow. It also impacts your experience as an important member of a community. The heart of our school is community; we want every student to belong, to able to thrive and to enjoy their time at Mid-Pen.

Our goal is to take the stress out of one of the biggest parts of being a teenager: high school.

We think of it as college prep with less stress.

At Mid-Pen, we focus on you as a person so you can be your best, truest self.  We help empower you to reach your goals and confidently prepare for life after Mid-Pen. One of our Core Values is acceptance. We know that as a community, our greatest strength comes from showing acceptance of ourselves and each other. When we all practice acceptance, it helps you, the student, have a space to get the most out your learning experiences—academically and socially.

When you become a Mid-Pen Dragon, you'll see that our program is flexible and focused on you and how you learn. This approach fosters the critical and creative thinking skills that prepare you for success in what you chose to pursue inside and outside of school.

The best way to experience what we call #DragonLife is to visit us on campus.  We're so exited that this year, you can be our guest in person and participate in a Shadow Day. Dragons are responsible for keeping each other and our community safe, so you'll have to follow our COVID-19 protocols while on campus.

If you would like to learn more about the school, please contact our Admissions Office at (650) 321-1991 X 146 or send an email to admissions@mid-pen.org.
