In the Middle Ages, mapmakers marked unexplored territory with the phrase “Here Be Dragons.” At Mid-Pen, we live in that spirit—curious, brave, and ready to chart new paths in learning and in life. Dragons are powerful and genderless, reflecting our radically inclusive community where every student belongs. And like the mythical creature itself, we are fiercely protective of our own, loyal to one another, and unafraid to stand guard for what matters. Being a Mid-Pen Dragon means exploring boldly, welcoming all, and having the courage to protect and lift each other up.
