Class of 2025 Graduation

First, do not procrastinate! No matter whether you are going straight to college, work, or something else, this is a habit you can cultivate easily in high school, which will give you a leg up on everyone else. Second, don’t discount the importance of extra-curricular activities. They look good on an application/resume, and they also help you develop as an individual.

Do not give into the demon that is procrastination. It’s so much better to not have work weighing on your head, even if you think you can handle it. You are in control of yourself, therefore it is on you to get that work done. No one else! You can get s**t done, so get s**t done! Change the world and don’t let yourself be your biggest hater. Protect your peace and remember: always put your oxygen mask on first before helping others. Good luck, and you got this.

I have some wise words of wisdom. Do your work. You can procrastinate, just don’t leave it for the last day. Try and be on the best side of things and stay safe. Protect your mental health and don’t get caught up on bad. Try and move forward.

Don’t procrastinate and push yourself more than usual. Ask for help. It will help you a lot. Be ready and prepare yourself for this next chapter in life when you graduate. Celebrate the bad and the good.

Hi, Juniors! Congratulations on making it into your senior year! My advice for you is to get your s**t together. Get in connection with Gen for help on ANYTHING. Be friendly with staff, as it is your last year. Say good morning to Stacie in the morning. Read! Read! Read! Don’t procrastinate. I promise it will go by faster than you think. Stay to yourself, you are you best friend. Leave the goofy ahh drama behind and be mysterious. #Get you money up and NOT your funny up. #All motion. Anyways, good luck on your final year! Oh, and get a job. Don’t be a brokey!

You are officially a senior, so be ready to put forward your best effort because it is your time to shine. Be brave and follow your passions!

Senior year is a prep for college, but that doesn’t mean it won’t be fun. Savor every moment and do the best you can. Prioritize success but more importantly happiness.

High school is what you make of it. Remember you’re in control of yourself and your actions. In the end everything will be okay at the very end!

Let yourself breathe. Yes, you will be a senior with senior responsibilities, but you are also a human with needs. No matter how hard s**t gets, because it will get hard, you are still you, life will go on, and you will grow. Things will change. It will be terrifying. It will be uncomfortable, but you must keep going. Comparison is the killer of joy, and you deserve joy. Try new things, and talk to people who never would imagine yourself talking to. Time flies.

Next year is your last. Keep the peace. Avoid drama. Get along with your classmates. You’ll enjoy your time more if you don’t get into drama.

Follow your heart! Trust in yourself and enjoy your final year. It goes by super quick.

Be wild and young. Now is the time to do the things you’ve always wanted to. Don’t grow up too quickly. Go explore the unknown.

Do what you love, and don’t worry too much about what colleges you get into. It will all work out.

Leave time for good times.

Remember your big three: Be kind. Remember your manners. And don’t be afraid to tell people to step off you.

What you want and who you are is going to change drastically over the next year. Be patient and roll with it. Do your homework for Laurie. Don’t let Alan make you cry. And do everything when you have the chance.

It’s easy to say "challenge yourself,” but the saying is inherently a challenge itself. No great person or thing came without failure, and risk -- challenge -- is always in hand with failure. You will fall, and you may fall for so long and crash so hard that turning around and climbing seems impossible. But you only fall hard once you reached the peak. You get a taste, a reminder to keep climbing. Take it, hold it close. The mountain will still be there, and there is more than one mountain. Others have scaled, and you will too. What makes humanity is its ambition; follow your instincts. Your gut has gotten us all for enough to be here now. Learn to live with discomfort. No life worth living is easy. Embrace the suck. Your feet will hurt your shoulders will ache, but you’re still higher on that mountain than yesterday – it’ll add up. Be gracious always and whenever. Don’t settle, but never spit in the face of even the most mundane. The smallest bug holds the same world together as the biggest of cities. Always find grace; someone else’s act of love, affection, mercy, or mere care is why you are here. Pay it forward. Feel when there are no words, reflect and own all mistakes, find quiet moments to remember who you are. We are all rooting for you.

Don’t fall for rage bait. Your friends and others will do that. If you want to make it in the real world, you need to understand what rage bait is. Also make sure to be confident in who you are, and you’ll find your real place in the world, where you belong.

Just be chill. All drama, you’ll look back and realize, is superficial and pointless. Also listen to Taner.

Once you have friends, keep them as close to you for as long as you can. Friends are just as important as family and teachers.

Try to meet with your friends in your free time often! This is your last year at high school, make it count! Make sure you have all your classmates’ contact info before you graduate. Also, take Alan’s senior elective. You get an amazing trip. Also, you should probably start looking into colleges now. Just sayin’.

The time is going to fly by especially in the end. Make sure to surround yourself with people who make you a better version of yourself. It’s important to find a balance between school as well as your relationships. Lastly, be yourself and the rest will fall into place along with way.

Every time you hang out with your friends take a million pictures – you’re going to want to look back at them after you graduate. Participate in everything – go to all the dances because you might regret it! Love yourself and DON’T change yourself for anyone. Except Shelley. Listen to Shelley.

People say junior year is the hardest, but if I’m being honest, senior year is hard. Not really in terms of schoolwork, but with everything else. College applications, graduation – it’s a lot. The best thing you can do is enjoy your last year. It will go by so fast and graduation day will be closer than you think. Making sure that you make time for your friends is so important. You never know where people will end up, so spending as much time as you can with people in your last year is important. You will do great. Good luck!

Junior year was the hardest academic year for me personally, so if junior year was hard, it probably is the hardest year to get through. Senior year is much easier, unless you choose it not to be.

You are officially done with the hardest part of high school! All that is left are college applications (optional) and persevering through your last year. Having said that, don’t stress too hard, don’t stress too little, and have fun! Your closest connections happen when you least expect it, so reach out to new people and make more friends.

Senior year won't be stressful if you stay on top of your work. If you are planning to go to college or whatever it may be that you do after high school, make sure to meet your deadlines and don’t push things off and procrastinate because it’s important for your future. Take advantage of talking to Shelley and ask for help!! Also make are to visit schools before it’s too late. You’ll learn new things that you won’t learn about from just looking online. Most importantly, don’t be too focused and get stressed over grades. Also enjoy your last year by strengthening connections and making new friends.

The hard part of high school is over. Make sure you still stay on top of your work! Take advantage of free periods. They are really fun and make your year so much more relaxing. Don’t stress about life after high school. Everything will fall into place and you will have support.

The most important thing in life—right after having fun—is learning how to move on. Let’s be honest. Moving on isn’t easy. Some things hurt. Some things stick with you. But here’s the truth: if you keep holding onto what brings you down... you’re cooked.

Life—this life you’ve been given—is the most beautiful thing anyone can ever receive. And you only get one of them. Just one. So the question is: are you going to fill it with what you want? Or are you going to let other people’s words, actions, and opinions define how your story goes? You’ve got one shot. One chance. Don’t waste it stuck on what hurt you, or what offended you, or what someone said about you behind your back. Because people? They’re not always kind. And life? It’s never going to be fair—no matter how much you want it to be.

But that’s okay. Because what matters... is how you respond.

You’ve got to learn to move forward. You’ve got to leave the past where it belongs: behind you. That means not dragging up old mistakes. Not replaying every insult. Not carrying around every regret like a backpack full of bricks. Your life is yours. Not your parents’. Not your teachers’. Not your friends’ or your enemies’. Yours. And you get to decide what it’s about.

Is it going to be about growth, goals, and personal achievement? Or is it going to be about what other people say or do to you? Because here’s the truth: if you never learn to let go, you will never break through. Now, I won’t lie to you—letting go is hard. At first, it’ll feel impossible. But the more you do it... the more you practice... the stronger you’ll become. And the happier, too. But most importantly—most powerfully—you’ll start to build confidence. And when you have confidence, you can stand tall in the face of anyone who tries to tear you down. Because there will be people who try. That’s guaranteed. But when you’ve learned how to move on, you won’t just survive their judgment. You’ll thrive in it. You’ll succeed—not just in spite of them—but because of them.

Confidence is the key. But confidence comes from the ability to move forward. From refusing to be defined by what happens to you—and instead, being defined by what you do next. That’s when you start to stand out. That’s when people remember your name. Because you’ll walk into new places, new challenges, and new chapters... without fear. Without anxiety. Without hesitation. Because confidence knows no bounds.

And if you’ve got that? Then you... will know no bounds either.
